San Marcos River Resort's Annual BBQ Cook-Off

Get ready for a weekend packed with flavor, fun, and friendly competition at San Marcos River Resort! Join us for our annual BBQ Cook-Off Contest October 16th-17th, all in support of Caldwell County Brown Santa—helping bring joy to families in need during the holidays.

Pitmasters and Backyard BBQ Pros Go Head-To-Head

Entry fee is $15 per category or $50 for all four.

First place winners in each category will receive $250 in camp credit, second place $150, and third place $100. Plus, one grand winner across all four categories will earn $300 in camp credit along with special goodies!

Four mouthwatering categories:

Chicken
Pork Spare Ribs

Beef Brisket

Open Category

Three extra competitions:

Bloody Mary Contest – bring your best mix! Optional $10 entry fee
Kids’ Dessert Contest – a FREE sweet showdown for our junior chefs.

Peoples choice - People’s Choice will be $5 ticket sales,

giving guests the opportunity to participate and vote for their favorite entry.

Winner of peoples choice will receive $250 camp credit
