The mild climate allows majestic oaks, maple, and pecan trees to flourish, creating a lush atmosphere. The vibrant hues of deep orange, reds, and yellows make the entire area come alive with color.
Unlike the elevated heat and humidity of Florida, the weather here in central Texas is milder in the winter months. We typically do not experience more than an inch of snow (if any!) throughout the entire season, and temperatures average between 50 to 70 degrees.

Hiking in stunning scenery, especially around fall foliage time rather than in frost or snow, is a much better way to spend time outdoors. Snowbirds also enjoy great golfing and boating, knowing they can partake in those sorts of activities year-round in central Texas.
